Laukaha Assembly

Laukaha is a small border town in Madhubani district of Bihar. It is a sensitive place as it close to Nepal border. It was once a CPI bastion (Thanks to Lal Bihari Yadav). When Yadavs switched loyalties to RJD, Muslims took over reins of the constituency. It now became stronghold for Janata Dal (United) despite Yadav-Muslim domination (RJD formula).
